# NRC404
## What is NRC404?
Users familiar with ERC404 should know that this is a new protocol that includes both NFTs and FTs, eliminating the need to distinguish between NFTs and FTs, as they have been unified.
UniFat is actually supposed to be the precursor to this concept.
From the early documents of UniFat, it is known that we have implemented the wrap function of NRC20 with NFT and NEP141, which is a great initiative.
In order to gradually realize our chapter, we did not immediately release the usage rights of this function, which is regrettable.
However, this does not prevent us from being the first issuer of NRC404 on Near. Our technical and product teams reacted promptly and deployed Pandora's NRC20 inscriptions on UniFat.
Note that this is not just an inscription, but rather leveraging this MINT to implement a LaunchPad. We have now released the Wrap function, allowing any user who has Minted Pandora to wrap into an NRC404 Token and see Pandora appear in both the NFT and Token lists in their wallet immediately.
## Features of NRC404
NFTs and Tokens have been merged into a new entity; it is both an NFT and a Token. When transferred as a token, it will prioritize the transfer of the portion less than 1 token. If the transfer amount is greater than 1, it will destroy the corresponding number of NFTs before transferring. If the receiver's Token amount is greater than 1, the contract will automatically verify and help the receiver generate the maximum number of NFTs possible. When transferred as an NFT, it will fully comply with the NEP171 protocol.
## Can NFTs still be automatically generated and transacted with insufficient Near Gas?
When the provided Gas amount is insufficient:
1. If it is enough to destroy the NFT, then even if the receiver cannot automatically generate a new NFT, users can call the wrap function themselves to complete the generation of the NFT, or trigger the wrap again through a transfer transaction.
2. If it is not enough to destroy the NFT, then the transaction cannot be completed. This is a current flaw, but I think, since it has the properties of an NFT, then large transfers or transactions should be made cautiously and should not occur.
## Level attribute of NRC404
NRC404 has the function of customizing Levels, meaning different levels can be set for NFTs with different probabilities of acquisition. Users can trigger the recalculation of Levels through transfers.
## Minting tax of NRC404
As can be known from the recalculation of NRC404's Level attribute, there is an obvious loophole here, making Levels meaningless on Near because the Near Gas fees are too low, allowing users to complete the recalculation of Levels through multiple transfers. Therefore, we have introduced the concept of a minting tax, that is, a certain minting tax is charged for each transfer, which can be freely set.
## Advantages of NRC404 over ERC404
Unlike ERC404, NRC404 prioritizes the destruction of lower-level NFTs when transferring tokens, preventing high-level NFTs from being accidentally destroyed.

The minting of inscriptions and transactions require users to pay a certain fee.
### Deploy Fee
To cover the storage costs of Near chain smart contracts and to prevent the proliferation of inscriptions, UniFat has introduced a DeployFee mechanism.
### Mint Fee
Inscription creators can set Mint Fees for their inscriptions, such as the first N being free, a charge of 0.001 Near for each inscription from N to M, and 0.01 Near for each inscription from M to X. This serves two purposes:
1. Minting inscriptions on the Near chain is too cheap; to control minting frequency and to prevent the Near chain from being congested, the pricing mechanism aims to distribute inscriptions to as many real users as possible.
2. The fees can be used for inscription incentives and LP addition, which are market-friendly. Of course, 90% of the inscription fees belong to the creators, who have the right to decide the allocation of these funds.
### Bid Fee

In ancient times, dragons were regarded as the most powerful creatures, surpassing all known beings in strength and wisdom.
Dragon eggs are the legacy of these magnificent creatures, containing unimaginable magical powers.
These dragon eggs are scattered throughout the mysterious world, awaiting discovery by truly brave and pure-hearted souls.
## To obtain DragonEgg
Each Near account can mint 6 DragonEgg tokens for **free**. If you wish to mint more, you have two options:

The current fee structure is as follows:
* 0 to 6 units: free

While each iteration maintains the same probability of success, increasing the Iteration Count also enhances the overall chance of a successful evolution. ## Awakening
### What is Awakening?
Awakening is a ritual that unlocks the latent potential within DragonEggs, endowing them with enhanced power in preparation for hatching. Currently, only DragonEggs of Rare quality or higher are capable of awakening, as Common and Fine categories lack sufficient potential.
### Levels of Awakening
There are nine levels of awakening in total.
Each level of awakening yields benefits significantly surpassing those of the previous level.
### Effects of Awakening
Awakening introduces base attributes:
#### Base Attributes:
These include Physical Attack, Magical Attack, HP, MP, AP, Physical Defense, Magical Defense, and Luck. Each level of awakening provides corresponding enhancements to these base attributes, along with random attribute bonuses, which can be up to twice the base attribute values.
* **Physical Attack**: Determines the capacity to deliver critical damage to Dragons with low physical defense. It can be enhanced through equipment, skills, and consumables, although the latter two are temporary.
* **Magical Attack**: Similar to physical attack but targets magical defense. Also enhanced by equipment, skills, and consumables.
* **HP (Health Points)**: Vital for survival in combat; lost during fights and recoverable through consumables crafted by culinary-skilled Dragons or acquired via minting.
* **MP (Magic Points)**: Required for casting spells; replenishable in the same manner as HP.
* **AP (Action Points)**: Consumed during games or battles, win or lose. Replenishable through consumables.
* **Physical/Magical Defense**: High defense mitigates damage from corresponding attacks. Enhanced through equipment, skills, and consumables.
* **Luck**: Affects the probability of random events across all DragonEgg systems. Each DragonEgg's first awakening randomly assigns a luck value between 0 and 100, with no increase in subsequent awakenings. The maximum luck value is 1,000, denoting favor from the Dragon World. Increasing luck requires a significant amount of DragonSoul, to be enabled post-DragonSoul airdrop completion.
### Directions of Awakening
There are eight possible awakening paths, each aligned with specific attribute developments. Focused awakenings yield greater growth in their respective domains, such as Physical Attacker or Magic Defender, each requiring specific tokens for activation.
* **Physical Attacker**: Focuses on enhancing physical attack with each awakening. Known as BlackDragon Guardians during the DragonEgg stage due to their BlackDragon consumption.
* **Magical Attacker**: Specializes in boosting magical attack. Referred to as Lonk Guardians, consuming Lonk for awakening.
* **Physical Defender**: Prioritizes physical defense improvement. Requires ShitZu consumption and dubbed ShitZu Guardians.
* **Magical Defender**: Centers on enhancing magical defense. Known as Neko Guardians, awakening through Neko consumption.
* **HP Focus**: Emphasizes HP increase with each awakening, termed Ref Guardians, utilizing Ref for the process.
* **MP Focus**: Aims at boosting MP, called UniFat Guardians due to the requirement of UniFat tokens for awakening. MP is very important. Food creation and equipment creation in the DragonWorld game all require MP.
* **AP Focus**: Concentrates on AP enhancement, known as Burrow Guardians, awakening through Brrr consumption.
Each awakening direction is fixed and results in greater growth in the chosen attribute, making strategic selection crucial for developing a DragonEgg's potential.
During the hatching process of DragonEggs, there will be a significant boost in attributes, which varies depending on the chosen direction. The proportion of this increase will be distributed according to the value of seven tokens as defined in the contract.
### Costs of Awakening
Each awakening attempt consumes specific tokens. For instance, MP-type awakenings require UniFat Tokens. The allocation of awakening costs involves a protocol fee, burning, and locking of funds for future activities or farming rewards.
DragonSoul is unique and can be used for awakening of any type.
#### The distribution of awakening costs is as follows:
* **DragonSoul**: 10% is allocated as a Protocol Fee, 20% is burned, and the remaining 70% is locked for one month. After unlocking, these funds can only be used for subsequent activities or as Farming Rewards.
* **Near**: 10% is allocated as a Protocol Fee, 60% goes to DragonSoul LP, and the remaining 30% is used for subsequent activities or as Farming Rewards.
* **UniFat**: 10% is allocated as a Protocol Fee, with 90% locked for one month. After unlocking, these funds can only be used for subsequent activities or as Farming Rewards.
* **Other Tokens**: 10% is allocated as a Protocol Fee, with 90% locked for one month. After unlocking, these funds can only be used for subsequent activities or as Farming Rewards.
### Post-Awakening
Once awakened, DragonEggs can no longer undergo Evolution.
At this point, if one wishes to further enhance quality, it's necessary to continually increase the star level, with each quality having a maximum of 9 stars.
Advancing beyond 9 stars elevates the DragonEgg to the next quality level at 1 star.
Upgrading across star levels is a momentous event, and DragonWorld provides additional rewards for such achievements, currently set at a 100% increase.
## Future
In the future, we haven't finalized the plans yet, and we will leave it to the community. However, we can still imagine some possibilities:
1. Hatching Different Quality Dragons Based on attribute Values: The DragonEgg tokens can be hatched into different quality dragons based on the attribute values. Each quality of dragon may have unique characteristics, abilities, or attributes. These dragons could be used in various ways, such as participating in battles, completing quests, or trading on a marketplace.
2. Airdropping Other Tokens to Inscription Holders Based on attribute Values: Based on the attribute values associated with the inscriptions, token airdrops can be distributed to the inscription holders. The quantity of the airdropped tokens can vary depending on the quality of the inscription. This encourages users to hold and collect different quality inscriptions.
3. Wrapping DragonEgg Inscriptions into Meme Tokens: The DragonEgg inscriptions can be wrapped into meme tokens, which are tokens representing internet memes or cultural references. Each quality of DragonEgg inscription can be wrapped into a different quantity of meme tokens. This adds a fun and creative element to the DragonEgg ecosystem, allowing users to collect and trade meme tokens.
